Crowdfunding Now Available To African Entrepeneurs Through JumpStart

Many a-times, you have had that idea you;d love to develop but due to the lack of sufficient funds, you've had to leave that idea behind. That will happen no more because Jumpstart Africa is here to the rescue.

JumpStart Africa is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, and music to fashion, design, and technology. JumpStart Africa is full of ambitious, innovative, and
imaginative projects that are brought to life through the direct support of others to empower African entrepreneurs.
how does it work?
A project is independently created and presented by the person or team behind it. After developing the projects and brainstorming on it, then the creators launch their project and launch it with their community. Every project’s creator has to set a funding goal and deadline. If people like the project, they are allowed to pledge money to make the idea a reality. When a project’s funding goal has been met, all pledgers will be charged and if the funding is not met before the deadline, no one is charged.
I think its also important to note that, by backing a project you are not entitled to any form of equity or part ownership. This means creators get to own their projects after funding and can continue to build without any form of pressure.
With this new development, entrepreneurs now have JumpStart Africa and Push & Start as crowdfunding platforms to help get off their projects, although the latter is very much startup-inclined.
