Smart Car Seat Technology Can Detect A Drunk Driver

Researchers from Hiroshima University and the University of Tokyo, Japan, along with Delta Tooling, have developed a new smart car seat. This new technology can be installed in a car seat not only to detect if the driver is drunk or under the influence of other drugs, but also if they are getting drowsy behind the wheel.

Abu Dhabi to Host First Solar-Powered Flight Around World


The first solar-powered flight around the world will take off from and touch down in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, officials announced.
In March 2015, pilots Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg plan to make the round-the-world journey in the Solar Impulse 2, an aircraft that runs exclusively on power from the sun.
The announcement of the host city was made in New York City, at the United Arab Emirates reception during the United Nations General Assembly.

The Confederation Bridge (French: Pont de la Confédération) spans the Abegweit Passage of Northumberland Strait. It links Prince Edward Island with mainland New Brunswick, Canada. Before its official naming, Prince Edward Islanders often referred to the bridge as the "Fixed Link". Construction took place from October 1993 to May 1997 and cost C$1.3 billion. The 12.9-kilometre (8 mi) bridge opened on 31 May 1997.

       The Sidu River Bridge (Siduhe Bridge, 四渡河特大桥) is a 1,222 m-long (4,009 ft) suspension bridge crossing the valley of the Sidu River near Yesanguan in Badong County of the Hubei Province of the People's Republic of China.

This GENius machine generates Water from thin air

The World Health Organization reports that 780 million people don't have access to clean water, and 3.4 million die each year due to water-borne diseases. But an Israeli company thinks it can play a part in alleviating the crisis by producing drinking water from thin air.

Sony has now sold 10m PlayStation 4 consoles.

    While it is far to early to declare a winner in the “console war” between the PS4 and Xbox One, the most recent figures regarding Microsoft’s competitor (gathered in July this year) put its global sales at around half that amount.


Regardless of competing figures, 10m sales is a significant success for Sony. Launched last November, the PS4 reached the 5m sales mark within four months.
